The band were formed in 2005 when Bobby, Eddy and Stevie from the recently defunct Roods were joined on bass by Dundonian Roy Waterstone.
Stevie, from Portobello (or Joppa depending on who he's talkin to) continues to live a Jekyll and Hyde existence - by day, a respectable drum tutor working in Edinburgh's schools, by night.....see gig guide!
In April 2007 Roy moved to the Highlands and was replaced on bass by Mark Hunter. Stirling-born Mark has played in many top bands on the scene since moving to the city. Much like drummer Stevie, he also has a hidden Mr Hyde - on face value a pleasant, easy-going personality but his lyrics often give a glimpse of a deeper, darker side.....e.g. "....nothing can compare, to the night I buried Jennifer underneath the stairs".
The Beau Nasties play their own unique brand of Folk/Rock, blending celtic and contemporary influences in original material and adapted covers. The brand new CD is out now! Available at gigs and on download on this site! |
